VERY SIMPLE.IF U HAVE TWO BALANCING SEGMENT IN THE LEDGER
LIKE 01,02 ATTACH 01 AND 02 TO SEPARATE LEGAL INTITY.IN
THIS MANNER U CAN USE ONE LEDGER WITH TWO LEGAL ENTITY AND
IN THE SAME TIME DIFFERNTIATE THE TRANSACTIONS DATA

my view differs from above.Lets take an example.
Say you have one Ledger(L1) and two different LE for it ,
say LE1 and LE2.
for LE1 you have 2 different OUs, say OU1 and OU2.
Now LE1 can have access to only 2 BSVs say BS1 and BS2.
and LE2 can access BS3 and BS4.
In addition to it OU1 can access BSV BS1 and OU2 can BS2.

For achieving it one can use BSV assignment window and
assign BS1 and BS2 to LE1 and further can use security rules
to restrict BS1 to OU1 and BS2 to OU2.

Please tell if you agrees.

In GL for the trail balance report i am getting imbalance amounts. Some amount is carry forwarding from 3 months onward as a opening balance how can i find the transactions related to the imbalanced amount in gl? IN clear the trail balance opening and closing balance should be zero but some amount is carry forwarded from some periods what are the transactions related to that balance and how can i find that transactions.
