A 4-Pole D.C. Generator has a speed of 1500r.p.m. Then what will be the frequency of D.C. Generato..

Answer / jignesh patel

50 Hz.
stator winding and rotor winding has rotating field so it
has 50Hz freq.
There is a commutator which is converted ac voltage in to
dc.

A 4-Pole D.C. Generator has a speed of 1500r.p.m. Then what will be the frequency of D.C. Generato..

Answer / ashok

p=4;
ns=1500;
we know that
ns=120f/p;
f=ns*p/120;
f=50hz

A 4-Pole D.C. Generator has a speed of 1500r.p.m. Then what will be the frequency of D.C. Generato..

Answer / jenjen

The question is not clear. It does not clearly mention whihc
frequency it refers to.

If we consider the output d/c voltage, its frequency should
be zero; however, the frequency of the generated voltage in
the armature will be:

1500*4
f= ------ Hz = 50Hz.
120

Is This Answer Correct ?    0 Yes 0 No

A 4-Pole D.C. Generator has a speed of 1500r.p.m. Then what will be the frequency of D.C. Generato..

Answer / kj

The generator will put out a DC voltage with a slight
ripple. The ripple frequency will depend on the number of
coils on the armature and the number of segments on the
commutator.
It will not have a frequency similar to AC.

I have raw material for making Compact-Choke for flourscent lamp of 40 Watts. We are suppose to get 0.4 amps output at end. but we are getting 0.42 or 0.44 amps and above. We have done many testings in different but nothing worked out. Please suggest me how to get the correct output. We are using 1. core winding of 700 windings of aluminium 2. E-shape iron fillings and I-shape iron fillings to surround the winding.

Hello friends., my question is related to testing of current transformer... A Ct having knee point voltage of 750 volts., and I have two step up transformer's of rating 230 v to 440 volts., can I obtain the value of 750 volts by using the two transformer's.... If yes then how could I connect the transformer's to obtain knee point voltage?? thank you in advance
