1.safety of personal is more in earthed cable than compared
to unearthed cable,because all fault&leakage current will
flow through the earthed armour.
2.we can easily found out the potential drop of earthed
cable by measuring volt between neutral and earthed armour
of the cable.so we can easily sort out the earth fault of
earthed cable .if there is no fault approximat volt between
neutral&earthed armour will be zero.

1) Ratio of resistance of E cable will be less than UE cable.
2) The insulation level of E cable wil be less than UE cable.
3)The dielectric strength of E cable will be less than UE cable.

Earth grade cable have more insulation resistance than
Unearth grade cable because when there is fault in any
phase cable core than voltage of other cable core is
increased with respect to earth and if cable insulation
between cable core and earth (armour) is not sufficiant
than cable insulation may fail. so earth cable is better
than unearth cable in terms of insulation.
