I believe its a wrong question since 20%+30%+10%+30%+20%=110% which is not possible, and after that he has managed a saving of Rs.5150.50.?

dont know i am right or wrong but i have done in this way
x is the total salary
after giving the house rent which is 20% , total money in his hand 4x/5
after giving to children 12x/25
then after on conveyance 108x/250
after on education 756x/2500
at last 6048x/25000
6048x/25000=5150.50
=> x = 21290 [aprx]
