ATEX means Atmosphere Explosives.ATEX is europiean body for
issuing certification to instruments for thier use in
hazardous area/application.ATEX has specific marking on
instruments which mentions class, div, temp class,gas class.

Instrinsic safe means it is one type achiving safety for
usisng instruments in hazardous application.Electronics in
instruments is designed in a such way that energy generated
during spark inside is such low so tat it will not ignite
explosive gas-air mixture.All componenets are low power
feed.
