Yes, absolutely it is necessary. Without load combination consideration we can't make safe structures.So according to code different combinations are present in staad pro.We hav to choose which one will be applied or appropriate.

yes it is necessary but we can also give different load
combinations individually and using load combination option
automatically all types of load required for d design is
generated so it is quite easier.
