if C.R increases then detonation will increase or decrease..

incresses

with increase in c.r the temp will also increase.
this will lead to localized ignition of air fuel mixture and
hence detonation

It make more influence to Petrol engines... Their will be
Pr-ignition occurs...but it is benefits of diesel engine
unto some extend..but it lead to metallurgic problem if c.r.
increases.

since compression ration is increasing it will result into more pressure followed by increased temperature thereby resulting into the localised ignition of air fuel mixture thus hence proved the detonation will increased
