When the Developer fixes and releases a defect.. then the
tester tests it and fails the defect. Suppose the developer
again fixes it and the tester again fails it and this
process continues for the same defect for more times then
what is that u do for getting the defect closed?
Answer / saikat
first of all this should not happen for lots of time if the
tester make the sense clear that what exactly the issue
is.The developer should fix this. But then also if this
happens then after the dead line tester should escalate
this things to his/her lead like for this issue he is not
able to complete the testing of that perticuler req.
hope this will work.

Assuming that the processing work is the same, what would be the specific tests that you would perform in Scenario 2, which you would not carry on Scenario 1?
