Because of Linearity. Increasing Temp. Linearity is
decrease of RTD and thermocouple linearity is increase so
it used mostly.

thermocuple more then rtd range depend on requirements

Thermocouple Temp range is up to 1320 degree celcious using t/c butRTD Range is only 600 degree celcious.so T/c is using in High Temperature

bcoz linearity of thermocouple is greater than RTD & having
range at 0 degree celcius resistance will be 100 ohm.
