Answer / diwakar bansal
let assume the value of turban = x
so
12month's salary = 90 + x
1 month's salary = 90 + x/12
9 month's = 90+x * 9 = 65 + x
-----
12
x = 10Rs.

Because the servant didn't serve the full year, he didn't get the bag.
The servant only served 9 months of the year, which is 9 months out of 12, or 9/12 of a year, which is 3/4 of the year.
So the man should have paid the servant 3/4 of 90, which is 75.
Instead, he paid 65 and a turban. The turban must make up for the missing money.

Answer / dip
if bag cost x and turban costs y
then,(90+x)/12 is his 1 months salary,
now (90+x)/12 *9=65+y
so,y=(3x+10)/4
