How to make ip address persistent across reboots?..

Answer / sachin

We can make ip adress persistent across reboots by editing
two files i.e
/etc/inet/hosts
/etc/hostname.xxn where xxn is the instance name of
ethernet controller
we have to jut put the IP adress entry in these two files
in /etc/inet/hosts file we have to put the ip daress
against hostname of the machine.
