Answer / lokesh
Of Course Grid is Interconnected system of more than one
no.of distribution stations connected together for the
pupose of load balancing. In some case the distribution
transformers have distribute peak supply sometime. Also
there will be low consumption power distribution
occurs.during this period load balancing can be done
through this grid.apart from this as we are paralleling
more than distribution system, in case of any break down in
any one of the distribution system, then that transmission
line can be feeded through some other distribution
transformer by tapping with load changer.

Answer / r. thirumoorthy
IT IS THE INTERCONNECTION OF TWO OR MORE DISTRIBUTION
NETWORKS. IF ANY ONE OF THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AFFECTED BY
PEAK LOAD OR MAINTENANCE PROBLEM,THAT CONSUMERS ARE GET
POWER SUPPLY FROM OTHER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF THE GRID.
LOAD BALANCING IS THE MAIN AIM OF GRID SYSTEM.

When batteries are connected in series the voltage increases but the current remains unchanged, how can this be? When you consider ohm's law. i.e. If voltage increases, current increases, providing resistance remains the same.
