Question { 26643 }

Distinguish between Angle modulation and Amplitude
modulation.

Answer

Angle Modulation is modulation in which the angle of a
sine-wave carrier is varied by a modulating wave. Frequency
Modulation (FM) and Phase Modulation (PM) are two types of
angle modulation. In frequency modulation the modulating
signal causes the carrier frequency to vary. T. In phase
modulation the phase of the carrier is controlled by the
modulating waveform.
In amplitude modulation, the amplitude of the carrier
signal is varied according to the modulating signal a and
other characteristics of signal(frequncy and phase) are
kept constant

What is the use of Isolation Transformer, and Neutral is
using for return path, finally this current is going....
but same time the voltage of the neutral should be below 1
V...

Answer

Isolation Transformer is used to block the DC components.
It has 1:1 ratio.There are many causes to produce/introduce
the DC components. If we do not block these components then
if may effect on the output. Isolation Transformer can be
used within in a single circuit. So, it is not correct that
the isolation transformer is always used to isolate the two
circuits.

Question { Ericsson, 9312 }

Waht is polarization,explain verical and horizantal?

Answer

Polarization indicates the direction of eletrical field
(Electromegnatic waves has two component one is electrical
field and second is megnatic field) w.r.t. ground.
If the electrical component of tne electromegnatic wave is
parallel to ground then the waves are horizentally
polarized.If it is perpendicular to ground then the wave is
vertically polarized.
There are also other types of polarizations e.g.
Elliptically polarized, circularlly polarized etc

Question { 27099 }

why is BPSK better than BFSK in presence of noise

Answer

We have two types of fadng
1)frequency slective fading
2)flat fading
The noise will also occupy some frequency it may damage
the signal flately or frequency slectively. But in PSK
there is very less chance in the changing of phase f the
signal.
Hence for noisy channel PSK is better than FSK

Question { L&T, 32500 }

Earth Is a very good conductor or very good insulator.? If
a good conductor then why current donot flow through small
piece f earth and if a good insulator then why we use it as
return path in lines.???

Answer

Yes earth is a good conductor. But to use earth as a
conductor there are specific methods e.g. earthing etc.In
other words we can say that without moisture the earth acts
as an insulator but when there is moisture the the earth
behave like a good conductor.So, in a small piece of earth
if there is moisture then it will act as a conductor.
