Micro switch is just like our ordinary switch but the
difference is that it regains its original position i.e.
normally close contact upon removal of force to it. it has a
spring lever mechanism. & two contacts nc & no. its used for
safety purpose to limiting the movement of some movable
parts & to take a feedback also.many applications are there
in which we can used it.

calibration is procedure in which we compares the readings
of our measuring instrument/transmitter with the reading of
standard & certified calibrated instrument/source. in the
same environment & working condition & adjusting our
instrument/transmitter readings to match with the standard
instrument readings by adjusting the SPAN & ZERO. If it is
not possible to adjust span & zero than we can only do
verification of our instruments not calibration.

orifice plate is used in liquid flow lines to measure the
flow rate by creating a differential pressure across it,
which is than converted in to flow rates by means of some
circuits. in some cases it is also used to reduce the
pressure in line.
