#vxresize -g <dg_name> shrinkto <volume_name> <size_to_shrink>
eg: #vxresize -g datadg shrinkto datavol 10g
Above command will shrink the volume to 10gb, here both volume & filesystem shrink together.

#vxassist shrinkto vol_name 1000
will shrink a volume by 1000 sectors,
make sure you don't shrink a volume below the current
size of the filesystem
