20 + 25 + 10 – [20×25/100 + 25×10/100+10×20/100 – 20×25×10/10000]
= 55 – [5 + 2.5 + 2 – 0.5]

Answer / sunil pradhan

Formula for 3 successive discount
A + B + C – (AB/100 + BC/100 + CA/100 – ABC/10000)
A = 20% B = 25% and C = 10%
Overall discount = 20 + 25 + 10 – (20×25/100 + 25×10/100 + 10×20/100 – 20×25×10/10000)
