Working Principle of FM200 System:-

FM200 (HFC227ea) is a synthetic fire suppression agent.
FM200 extinguishes the fire by removing the free radicals
or heat element of the fire triangle. The concentration of
FM200 is typically 7.9% of the room volume and 8.5% for
higher hazard area’s such as floor voids or area’s with
higher fire risks. The main advantage of FM200 is the
amount of agent required to suppress a fire. This means
fewer cylinders, therfore less wasted space for storage of
FM200 cylinders.
