Define magnetic centre in a motor?
Answer / akky
Sometimes called "electrical center," it's the axial
position that the shaft/rotor assembly will attempt to
maintain during steady-state running at rated voltage and
frequency, without the influence of any coupled load.
In the usual ball- or roller-bearing machine, the shaft
position is fixed by the bearing mounting. But in sleeve
bearing motors, the bearing construction inherently permits
mechanical movement or "float" (typically 1A" or 2",
depending upon motor size). Low sliding friction allows the
shaft to drift readily back and forth to seek whatever
position is dictated by the axial forces acting on the
rotor.

WHAT HAPPENS IF STARTER OF A FLUROSCENT LAMP IS SHORT CIRCUITED AND WE PUT THE SUPPLY ON?
Can you use a different size cable to complete a circuit if you run out what you are using?
why we step up voltage for reducing the loss, even if voltage and current are proportional anr resistance remains same
Hello everyone, somebody knows what is a "surplice power" ? The hole phrase is: "This rating is appropriate for a generator set paralleled with an infinite bus e.g. a national electrical supply network or grid where the generator set is run at 100% load, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and any surplice power is exported into the grid" Thanks in advance.
