Answer / sornakumar
heavy duty vehicles axle is designed for their load
carrying capacity and torque.then we also use material
depends on usage.so the light duty vehicles axle cant use

Answer / atul tiwari
no, we can't use light duty vehicle's axle into the heavy duty machinery as it is designed to transmit lower torque to the wheels and hence it will not be able to sustain high torque of the heavy vehicle.
Is This Answer Correct ? | 5 Yes | 3 No |
Answer / karthick
axle is not a power transmitter as like shaft.so here
torque doesnot exists.axle is simply a load carrying
member.heavy duty vehicle cant use light duty vehicle's
axle becoz both are designed to different load conditions

Answer / soumen sarkar
karthick you are absolutely correct. Axle are used to take
bending moment only .hence axle of heavy duty vechile
should have more load bearing capacity than lighter duty
vehicle .Hence we cannot use light duty vehicle axle into
the heavy duty machinery axle.
