NGR Means Neutral Grounding Resistor, used for higher
rating of transformer because to allow the heavy fault
current through it, during the fault so -----NGR resistane
value so less Ex. 9.5 Ohms
low resistance allow the fault current easily

NGR stands for neutral grounding resistor.it connected
between neutral point and ground.it is a type of grounding
to limit the current not to eliminate fault currents.

NGR means neutral grounding resistors normally connected in
neutral circuit of transformer & generator to limit the
earth fault current. After installing NGR in neutral
circuit, earth fault current will be in the range of few
amps i.e. 5A t0 300 A.
