A policeman buys some bunches of yellow bananas at 30 cents per bunch and red bananas 40 cents/bun..

Answer / subbu

assuming initially the number of yellow bunches bought and
red bought to be equal.
now for after dividing the totall sum it is given that the
increase in number of bunches is equal to 2. for this to
happen there must be 6 red buches decremented and 8 yellow
bunches incrimented in their number. That is 240 cents to
be decrimented amount to be spent on buying red bunches .

for this to happen there must be initially 48yellow and 48
red bunches to be bought. For buying this many bunches we
must have 3360 cents.
