17 poles per min
48kmph=48000 meters per hr
=800 meters per min
the distance between two poles is 50 meters.
if in one min he covers 800 metres ,therefore he covered
800/15 = 16 parts.
hence no of poles is 17.

48 km/h means 800 mtr/min.
so train will pass 800/50 =16 parts.
SO, no. of poles=17.

DATA INADEQUATE...because the length of the train is not
specified. Suppose the length of the train was
100m(say)..den it has to travel 50m(dist btwn the poles) +
100m(length of the train itself) to cross 2 poles completely..
So it takes approximately 11 sec to cross 2 poles (after
calculating by converting into m/s n m/min)
so 60/11 ~= 5.5.. hence it crosses 2 * 5.5 = 11 poles in 1 min..
