can any one tell me the number of vacancies in the combined
graduate main exams 2008.. i saw 64000 were recommened for
the main exams could anyone tell me approximately how many
could have wrote the mains and what are the chances of
getting selected if the cut off score is about 400

I Have selected as a LDC in SAFDARJANG HOSPITAL through SSC BOARD as a central Govt. employee. but there is no any departmental exam in this hospital there is only 10year ACP. SO can I give any departmental exam of upper grade like UDC, Assistant post . And what is the benefit for me after joining central govt. job except age relaxation.
1) If I am posted in my hometown as a tax assistant, will I still get Govt. flat or HRA? 2) Can I opt for HRA instead of Govt. Flat?
