Hi guys!
I attended the GD&PI yesterday at Trivndrum, Kerala......
GD topic will depend on the interview board.... Ours was
Fashion Vs Tradition. Another one gven yesterday was
Consumerism Vs Saving. GD topic can be anything the board
decides.......
Interview questions was soley based on the profile that you
hve filled in........ My interview lasted around 25-30
minutes, because I was the first candidate for the day......
Speak confidently, that is what they are looking for and
not all correct answers.....

Hello All ,
My interview was today and the GD topic was
" Should Civil Police be reserved only for Women".

We were given 5 min to jolt down our ideas and each was give
2 mins to talk (14 in group may differ), u may take even
less but max is 2 mins.

Then the interview part,

M: Me , P1 : Panelist 1 , P2 , P3

M: Good Evening .
P1,p3,p3: Please be seated.
M: Thanks u .
P2: So , u are interested in music , what kinda of classical
music
M: Carnatic Classical music and I even play Veena.
P2: Good, What raaga u like the most and did u give any
Veean concerts .
M:Kalyani.No sir I haven't given any , but participated in
competitions.
P2:Did u win any of it
M:No
P1: Did u see the advertisement where people eat something
and they get light from their mouth.
M: Yes sir, it was chewing gum advertisement.
P1: Did u here about the technology ,where when u clap u'r
hand lights gets switched on.
M:Yes
P1:What sort of technology is used
M:Basically they use sensors in it.
P1: Can u explain the functioning of sensor
M: Explained something.
P1: Do u know Tansen and what raaga did he render to light
up lamps

my gd/pi was on 14th feb.
gd topic was : " were joint families of yesteryears better
than nuclear families of today. "

as far as interview was concerned, they stuck to the
profile , although, there was a question on impact of
recession on advertisement as well.

In case of recruitment to the sbi associate banks,it is
true that they have given final selection to only about 80
people even after shortlisting much higher through the test.
but whether two round test was there in the exam??? does
nyone knws much about it??

hi everyone

the point made earlier by kriti is absolutely right,
it is true they select 1 out of every 3 condidates
interviewed, as in the case of associative bank case they
shortlisted 210 condidates for interview and they selected
only 70 condidates,so based on that assumption it is true
that this time they will hire some 2100 condidates,

and as far as result s concerned it
will not b declared earlier than third week of march i'e
between 20 to 25 march

so let's hope for the best

I enquired an officer at my center about it and got the
info.
So, only 10 days to go....
