There are 14 methods of depreciation prescribed under
accounting of depreciation by Shukla Grewal. However,
currently the most popular method used by almost all
corporates is SLM ( Straight Line Method) or WDV ( Written
Down Method)

Depreciation:-
Straight line method and W.D.V.
But as per Income tax act we have W.D.V.
