We should analyse the Cause for not fixing the bug.
If the bug is differed by Dev Team
In some projects implementation of a new feature will fix
the bug or else dev people need to add other
functionalities to make it fix.In this situation Dev team
have right to differ(Means the defcet will be closed in
future build release)the bug. The release may be immediate
next release or later releases. No need to report again this
differed bug,as it's status is 'Open' in defect tracking
system.

For version:
To release SW Version QC should give a Release Note,
This release note will be given if the all High priority
High, medium severity defects are fixed(by dev team) and
closed(testing team).
So now if a defect/bug is reported in 2.0.0 Build should be
closed before release of the current vesion.
U know a version may have nay number of releases,For eg:
Before release Vesion 2.0
Different builds(2.0.1,2.0.2,2.0.3..etc) are released for
QC for testing.

When the tester fixes the bug at 2.0.0 then it is verified
by the T.L and it is given the priority to that so based on
the priority the developer will be rectifying the bugs.If
the bug is a important functionality bug it will be
rectifyed in the 2.0.1 version but if the functionality is
less then it will be rectified later in the later versions.
