mother bind the whole family together. So as the board also
bid all chips together and make them work in unison thats
why they have name motherboard and not fatherboard.

This is called so because there is a relation
--> most of the countries call their birth land as mother land
--> mom is the one who regulates and controls the family it is because of ore mothers that we are having a law and order in the family
