V can write the Test Cases for the Message box by following
way:-

- Verify message box icon should be displayed on the
mobile screen.
-Verify the UI of the messgae box icon as per as FRS or not.
(Font Size,color etc)
-Check the status of the messge box(whether it is clickable
or not)
-By click on the message box icon,next screen should get
open(4 clickable)
-Under new screen following options should be displayed
*Write Message
*Inbox
*Draft
*Outbox
*Sent Item
*Setting etc....

-Then v proceed to write the all +ve & -Ve test cases for
above stated option.

* "For Write Message" option.
- Check the status of the messge box(whether it is
clickable or not.
-Verify the UI of the messgae box icon as per as FRS or not.
(Font Size,color etc)
-By click on the Writemessage option,next screen should get
open(4 clickable)
-Under write message window,user should be able to wrile
the message in Numeric,Alphanumeric,special
characters,character(as per as FRS).
-By prssing #,user should be able to write
Numeric,Alphanumeric,special characters,character.
-Then user select the sender(single or mutiple) name by
using Contact list,Recently used,call register etc option.
-By click on Send button message should get send to selcted
users.

-Check whether sent message should be saved in Sent Item
option. (if this option is selected).



In such a way v can write the Test cases for all reamining
option.
V should cover the UI and functional Test cases both as
per as requirement.

actually it depends from mobile to mobile ,simple mobile
have lesser no. of testcases while a multimedia mobile set
has more no. of testcases ,moreover a simple mobile may
have more than 1200 to 1400 testcases..........
