Red, Green and Blue are the three primary colours. These colours are unique and cannot be formed by mixing any other colours. More over they are distinctly visible for identification. As we require a 4th colour for representing neutral, the mixture of red and green, i.e. yellow is taken for representing phase and the green, universally accepted for
safety is representing earth.

First- for Identification Purpose
Second- RYB Electrical standard so every common pepole can
identify
third -All motor or other end side device are mention with
RYB only so they maintain the same in phase system

In addition to identification, the color code identifies the phase rotation. If the convention is followed from beginning to end, a three-phase motor will rotate in the correct direction.
