2. What are termination roles of an element?
3. What is costing?

5. Can you name certain DFFs (description flexfiled) and

10. Can a job have multiple position? How?

1).Elements are nothing but the components of the salary.
Eg. Basic, HRA, TA, BONUS, Loans etc., There are 2 types of
Processing
1. Recurring: if an entry of this element applies in every
period until the entry is ended
2. Non Recurring: if an entry applies in one pay period
only.

2).Termination Rules of an Element:
a).Actual Termination: For a nonrecurring element, select
Actual Termination if you want the entries to close down at
the end of the pay period in which the employee leaves.
b).Final Close: if you want the entries to stay open beyond
the employee's leaving date so that you can continue to pay
the employee.
c).The Last Standard Process date defaults to the last day
of the pay period in which the employee is terminated, but
you can set it to a later period when you terminate an
employee.

3).Costing:
Recording the costs of an assignment for accounting or
reporting purposes. Using Oracle Payroll, you can calculate
and transfer costing information to your generalledger and
into systems for project management or labor distribution.

HI, I am nithi,I had Completed MBA with HR and Systems in 2006 Sept.my undergraduation is BSc Computer science.I have 1 year and 6 months of Exp in US Recruitment working only for Oracle Requirements.Now i am Undergoing Oracle HRMS Training from Oracle University.Its a 15 days course after completing this course i will become a oracle certified consultant.My question is, 1)how is the future of this course because i paid huge amount to do this? 2)After completing the course can i mention i have 2 yrs of exp in Oracle HRMS or i want to apply as a Oracle certified consultant with MBA ? 3)what is the Starting salary minimum for oracle certified consultant?

Hi all, I posess and MBA degree with nearly 5yrs of exp in various areas of HRMS. out of which i have also worked as Oracle hrms support consultant for abt 8 months almost 3 yrs back.
