Original cost-Accumulated depreciation.So accumu depr is

It is the total of depreciation provided on any particular
asset or block of asstet from the date of its purchase till
the date of balance sheet.

systematic basis. Objective of keeping accumulate
depreciation (AD A/c) separately is to write down the
