Nadeem Shaikh : All the above answer are wrong
because when the ball hots the helmet the runs
are given to the team not to batsman.
and other says for runout but the question
is both batsmen should be notut.
Correct answer is that a batman hit a
boundary and then runs three for the next ball
and runs one run short and then next batsman
hits a six on the last ball.

HEY GUYS,
I HAVE SEEN THIS QUESTION IN SO MANY FORUMS AND YET NO ONE
IS ABLE TO ANSWER IT CORRECTLY. ONLY NADEEM IN POST NO. 4
HAS A VALID ANSWER, BUT IT IS ALSO COMPLICATED WITH THE
CRICKETING RULES. THE ANSWER IS CORRECT, BUT I THINK THIS IS
A LOGICAL QUESTION RATHER THAN A CRICKETING RULE AWARENESS.
SO NO FURTHER BLAH-BLAH, I AM REALLY HAPPY TO BREAK IT TO
YOU ALL, HERE IS THE ANSWER.
THE FIRST BATSMAN HITS A SIX, HE IS RETIRED HURT (HE IS
100 NOT OUT). THE NEW BATSMAN HITS THE BALL IN THE AIR, IS
RUN OUT, BUT THE TWO BATSMEN CROSS, SO THE SECOND BATSMAN IS
ON STRIKE. HE HITS A SIX AND HE IS UNBEATEN ON 100.
I HOPE THIS SOLVES IT.

Simple! First batsman hits four runs and (3 runs needed from 2 2 balls) the same batsman then strikes the ball and runs 3 runs which gives strike to other batsman(but the third run was short that means only two runs will be counted and that make the player hitting the shot reach to a century) therefore it means 1 run to win from 1 ball the other batsman hits a 6 that means both of them get a century!!!

A batsman hit a boundary and then runs three for the next
ball, but after completing 1st run,a batsman does not touch
the line and run for 3rd run.So it will be 2 run and as
there a side change between two batsmen then next batsman
hits a six on the last ball.In this way both batsmen
complite their unbeaten 100 .

the first batsman will hit a six then on the second ball he
will not offer any shot and ball touches on his pads then
both batsman takes the run as the batsman offering no shot
the ball will be declared as a dead ball and and the batsmen
cross over then on next ball the other batsman will also hit
a six .

batsman A hits a ball and runs 3 and
fielder while throwing a ball gives
an overthrow 4 runs(boundary)...and
in that out of 3 runs they ran ..1
run is short run ..so on that ball
run counted is 6 and batsman has
changed their ends as they ran
3 ....so batsman A scored his century
...and on another ball batsman B hits
a 6 and made his century....so both
the batsman is unbeaten on 100 and
wins the match in just 2
balls.....instead of 3 balls....
Hope this explanation helps....
