how to hide the prompts?

i think show/hide object will select in designer or report
level. i think in report level show/hide object by using
pivot tab,format table dialog box.
in designer level directly select rightclick object select
show/hide option. selected prompt object automatically done.

We can't hide the prompts, but if your report is having two
date prompts which will have similar data, then you can
give the same prompt text for both of them. then only one
prompt will come.

Yes, You can hide the prompts in BO, In IDT Business layer you have the tab to create Parameter and list of values where you create Parametrs under--options--Prompt to user if you uncheck soon it will ask you to input static values for prompts. This is how you can hide the prompts IN BO.

We can hide the objects/conditions only in the universe by
right clicking on the object and click hide

we have the option in BOXIR2,option nane in show/hide
click that option hide the prompt
