i have created many complex reports in Business Objects as
well as Crystal Reports. Here are few examples of them.

BO
I have made a report which give activated and deactivated
user for all application of client. for that i created sys
security Universe . Later on i created Free hand sql which
required many derived tables to achieve the functionality.
Finally after getting data on report i created another sub
reports. which were linked to main report. I did this in
webi by passing parameters to reports. That way i created
one main report which had hyperlinks for another reports.
In main report I put one graph which represented final
figures in Pie.

Crystal.
I created a complex report which gave opening and closing
balances for Business. I made formula for defining data in
custom manner. I introduced on demand sub reports for each
business units. I inserted Xcelsius flash object. That
object used feature of drill down. I made pie chart which
gave variances between opening / closing balance and
transactions. For each legal entity When user wanted to see
opening and closing , all he needed is to click the pie
section and an adjacent graph would show data for opening /
closing balance for selected legal entity.

I have many examples with me but due to constraint of
writing much in forums I am mentioning few only .

Hi same question has been asked by me:
I have given ans: I have developed report which gives me all the employee data in the organisation. If I have given employee name it will show me all the data of employee including there in and out time ans average time they spend in the office for a month.

complex reports:

I have created many reports using VB macro like

I had created one control report which is defined many Sales
ares, Plants, Sales repcode..... like i have created control
reports and based these refer to created another report
which is refer to control report and run the each area or ,
sales repcode.... like that i have created and these reports
will be published individually on webi.

I thought that these type of reports are called Complex reports

I need to modify Web Intelligence Report, I need to Add 7 columns in WEBI Report-Java Pannel, so i could Add only 6 Columns in the Webi-Java Pannel as one X Table - X Column is not available in the Universe. I was advised that i can do it with Free Hand SQL in Web Intelligence even X Table - X Column is not available in Universe. Please kindly let me know how to implement the same

Can we add our own component in Xcelcius ,I am having a Indian client and I want to either create or import component (map) is it possible?? Currently I have imported Map image and working through icons is there any other way out??Please help.

Hai, Can anyone tell me 'how to use one dataprovider result as an input to another dataprovider?. In BO6.5 there is an option like "select query result". we can use this option in the filter. but the same thing not available in BO XI webi. if any one face this problem , can you please share with me how to do this?
