Filters Are Two Types
Report filter
Quary filter.
Report fiter:
Report filter Hides the data In report.
Its works on Microcube.(Its contain in Repositary)
Query Filter:
Query filter Restrict the data from data base.
Its works on database.

Report Level Filters are:(Fromat-->Filter)
There are two types of filters: global (which apply to the
whole report) or block-specific (which apply to a specific
table, crosstab or chart only).

there are three types of reports
1.Global filters
2.Local filters
3.report level filters.
1.Global filters are applied at the universe level.They are
available for n number of reports on the specific universe.
2.Local filters are available only to a specific report.Like
we open Webi and drag the objects to the filter pane.
3.Report level filters are ones which can be applied to
specific report, but this is applied only after we generate
a report. i.e after we run the report if we want to apply
any filter we can apply here.
