moment of inertia is rotation about any axis of tha area
but mass moment of inertia is rotation abt centre of mass

mass moment of inertia is the property of a body that resists the change in its angular velocity and area moment of inertia is the property of a body the resists the bending in it . (just like mass which resists the change in velocity of a body)

consider the Density as well. MM^4, KG mm^2
