Hi guys, i am selected for the H1B cap 2009.Will u please
tell me the documents to be carried to the
interview.whether bank statement for the last 3-6 months is
necessary.please urgent.tell me.

Its not HSBC. Its HDFC Bank that you need to take DD from.

hi

before going 2 h1b inter view first u have to go to hsbc
bank and pay for visa fee in hsbc bank rs.4000/- .after
taking receipt 2 days u should book ur interview
shedule.website u search in google.when ur booking slot it
will ask to fill DS-156,DS-157 forms and interview letter.
pl fill properly.

when ur filling ds-156,ds-157 it will ask few
questions..which u know fill that on only
..and boo slot later u can login with ur passport no.. and
fill correctly.

then u need to carry fews documtns.

1.i-797
2.last 3 months tax returns of ur employer
3.LCA
4.project details (in-house project or client side project)
5.ur certitifcates
6.DS-156 AND DS-157
7.HDFC receipt

a. Valid Passport – Passport should be valid for at
least 7 months from the date of application for Visa –
Resource

b. Two photographs with no borders – Resource

1. Non-digital photograph measuring 50mm X 50mm for US
Visas
2. The photograph must have been taken within the last six
months (This is
mandatory)
3. The photograph must be in color.
4. The Photograph must have only a white background.
5. Photos with dark or patterned backgrounds will not be
accepted.
6. For persons wearing glasses, there must be no reflection
around the eyes.
7. Photos with reflections will not be accepted.
8. The photograph must be a full-frontal view, taken facing
the camera.
9. No side or angled views are acceptable.
10. The face on the photograph must occupy approximately
40-50% of the whole
photograph.
11. Facial images too small/large will not be accepted.

c. Original INS form I-797 (Notice of Approval)

d. The complete petition submitted by your prospective
employer –For H1B

1) Including the Labor Condition Agreement (LCA)
2) Form I-129

e. The originals of your School and university degree
certificate, mark sheets and work experience certificates
f. A complete set of photocopies of the above listed
documents (A to F).

g. Duly filled Form DS-156 with photograph, as per the
specification- Mandatory- the form should be printed back –
to – back

h. Duly filled Form DS-157
i. Print out of web appointment receipt / confirmation
letter (online entry)

k. Receipts for Fees paid

The additional documents you could arrange to take along
with you for the interview are: -

1. Bank transaction statements with details for last six
months.
2. Tax statements for the last 2 years/W2 forms (as
applicable).
4. Latest Pay Slips (2-3 months)

1.Carry your past pay-slip's and always better to carry as
many supporting documents as required (if u hv bank
statement carry that as well).

2.Carry your Degree certf., work exp. letter's, current
company offer letter and Id card.

3.Carry the new company's offer letter and any relevant
documents of the company.

4.Carry the H1B approval notice.
