In the defect life cycle, if you find a defect in QC and
think that it is not a valid defect. what will you do? just
close it or store it in any document for future review, if
yes what type of document and where?

The invalidity of the defect should be confirmed by the BA
then the defects status has to changed to "Non Defect"

I belive we can reject the defect,should not close or open

In Quality center, if you feel the raised defect was not
valid, then change the status into 'withdrawn'.
In QC 10.0, you may not allow to change the status from
Open to closed unless otherwise Development team change the
status as 'fixed/indispute'

Is there any option to colour code the Defect module in QC 9.2.What I want is different background colour should be available depending upon the defect age. the defect age can be divided into 5 intervals and different colour can be chosen for different intervals.
