I am using Quality Center 9.2. While raising a defect i can
see that there is only option to send a mail to assigned
and it is also sent to me. Is there any way i can send the
mail to multiple users ? I know i can save the defect and
than later sent it to multiple users, but is there any way
where i can send it at the time of raising the defect
itself. Any configuration that can be done by an
adminstrator?

We have to make some setting in the QC admin. There we need
to specify to which all users and to which all groups we
need to shoot an email while raising a defect. So as soon as
we raise a defect in defect tab , it will automatically give
the information to all those users and groups which you have
specified in QC admin for defects. But for these setting you
need to have Admin rights.

not an answer, but a question as to whether you've managed
to create nything through workflow to overcome this. We've
had the same question raised by members of my test team and
we're keen to write a solution into QC, otherwise we have
to set up static rules per project into the customisation,
which is not ideal.

while logging a Defect you can chose the option as View by
Group and so that you can send a mail to more than one
user. This may not solve your problem but this is one way
to send mail to more than one user while logging a Defect.

Hi all, I use the Requirements Traceability and wnat to send by email a Trace Comment. But when I send out the requirement by mail I don’t receive Trace Comment. In place of Trace Comment I do receive the other felts who I didn’t needed For ex. ReqName, ID, Reviewed, Status, Author, Creation Date, Creation Time, Modified But I would rather be with. ReqName, ID, Trace Comment, RFC_status, Priority, Assigned To, Author, Creation Date Above all, I would like to Trace Comments will. Do you have any idea how to change this? And how to recieve Trace Comment?

Trying to install Test Director 7.5 on my laptop which has windows vista home premium. The error message i am getting is IIS not installed. But IIS 7 is installed and working fine. I also installed IIS 6.0 Metabase Compatibility Layer in "Turn Windows Features on or off" in Vista. But still not successful. Can anyone tell me what is the problem? what version of IIS does test director 7.5 support?
