Compressive strength of Brick - 5 to 7 n/mm2
compressive strength of hollow block - 7.5 n/mm2
compressive strenth of solid block -10 to 11 n/mm2

1) Common building bricks
= 35kg/cm2
=3.5N/mm2
2) First class bricks= 105Kg/cm2
=10.5N/mm2
3)second class bricks= 70kg/cm2
= 7N/mm2
NOTE: 1N/mm2= 10 Kg/cm2 ( Approx.)
