the quality of the product produced.
QA - Quality assurance, that is you will certify the quality
of the product produced.

i see many good definition, but it's existing a large difference between the two functions.
Quality control is under responsability of the production manager and it must doing his job following the quality procedures and specifications requirements, and the quality assurance activities are directly attached to the manager of the company and report him directly of his activities (audits system or products) and survey than all the system is known and applied by all the personnal, managers included.
