The Test plan will consists of many important criteria’s to
be fulfilled. One of the main topics is Entry & Exit
Criteria. There could be many Entry and Exit criteria’s in
a project.
For Example
Entry Criteria -Business requirements is given to the test
team for analysis
Exit Criteria- Test Estimation Signing off
Entry Criteria – Application installed on UAT environment
Exit Criteria- No High severity/Priority defect open.

as follows:
Entry criteria:
1)If all the test cases are prepared
2)Test environement is setup
3)Build is ready for further testing after sanity testing
Exit criteria:
1)All the test cases are executed and defects also fixed
2)If there are more no of defects with test cases failed
3)Test environment abonded suddenly
4)Dead lines reached
5)if the test period is over.
