Answer / phanicrn
I have one dimension and one fact
dimension as Calendar(Calendar_Key,
Calendar_year,Calendar_quarter,Calendar_Month,Calendar_Date)
Fact has(Calendar_Key, Account_Balance, Balance, Amount)
In framework manager i joined
Fact.Calendar_Key=Dimension.Calendar_Key
In Transformer Model when i build the time dimension, i
want the time dimension as
Calendar_Year
Calendar_Quarter
Calendar_Month
Calendat_Date. date should be my lowest level and unique
level. now how do i set scope for Calendar_Date level.
When i look at my fact, I have calendar_Key as key column..
If i put Calendar_Key as lowest level in Time dimension,
when i see the scope. it works.bc'z fact as matching column
Calendar_Key. But how do i set for Calendar_Date as lowest
Level, if i set as lowest level, when i see the scope,Fact
has no column refering to dimension.
what should i do ..?
Thanks
Phani

To create the relationship between fact and dimension you
need to have calendar_date also in your fact table and than
only you can make the relationship with that.
