No.We do regression testing to confirm that bugs fixed have
not effected existing functionalities of the product.So
thrs no need to write new test cases.

I think in regrssion testing not required write test case
again. Regrssion tesing means in first time testing
whatever bugs found that can fixed or not, check in the
regression testing. Also check the any functionality
affected by bug fixing.

hi sreedevi ur right..we right test cases wen the build is
ready after fixing and also wen new functionalities are added.
so wen a new functionality is added we deffinetly write test
case..

Yes we will write regression test cases.... Regression is
nothing but when new functionality is added then we r doing
regression testing... so we r writing test cases for new
functionality and we will write test cases like P1 for
regression test

Actually people are not much aware of the product and
application wise testing.
Definitely we can write test cases which were not mapped
with the currnet CR / Impact for to cover the entire
functionality .
Regression is always gives the Health of the project .\\\

Regression testing is nothing but retesting the previously
tested application to ensure that the bugs that have been
fixed does not affects the functionality again.
so no need to write new test cases for regression
testing.

I think We can't write test Cases for Regression Testing.
For addition of new functionality We can write Test cases
under Injection Testing and not under Regression Testing
