Though it is not mandatory to do the cartification, it will
add more value for your career!
(it is common for both freshers and the ppl who works in
some company.)
And the thing is when you keep learning, it will help you

Most of top companies as well as mid-size companies prefers testers with ISTQB. If you have ISTQB then only you are eligible to apply for interviews in few top companies. I have finished ISTQB and Oracle SQL certification, So I am getting interview calls at least 2 to 4 calls/mails per week. This certification is recognised all over the world from USA,UK,Canada, India, Middle east, Gulf countries, Africa and even in Japan, Hongkong and China.
