Let they meet at a distance of x miles
time taken by A = x/6 and by B - x/8
x/6 – x/8 = 1/2 (30 min = 1/2 hr)
4x – 3x = 12
x = 12 miles
time taken by A = 12/6 = 2 hr.
meet at 9:00+ 2 hr = 11:00 am
