yes, Satyaprasad is correct. We cannot do performance test
manually. We can use a human source but we cannot make them
click the application at the same time which is not
possible. For ex. We can hire 200 employees to do the
performance test after entering the URL everyone should
click the enter at the same time, which is not possible. So
doing performance test manually is impossible and very
expensive. So load runner is the best option.

we can perform the load testing manually but accuracy of
the result is very less as compared to the performance
testing tools . Also we require more machine & manpower.

Yes we can perform the Load testing manually but it will be
unreliable. For small scale projects you can do the
performance testing somewhat accurately.

I think load testing cannot perform manually because in the
tool LoadRunner we have virualusergenerator ,by using that
we can test the application by generating customer
expected load

Manual performance testing can be carried out depending on the project. Like if you are in product testing which is a stand alone device and it can not be automated using any performance tool as it has no connectivity with PC.
If a device has to download images over Wi-Fi, in that case you can manually calculate the total time taken by the device to download various sets of pictures.

It depends upon the client for whom we are creating a software. If he wishes that only navigation actions are enough and for a few records, then load testing can be performed manually and result is fair enough to satisfy client but not accurate.
For Limited data and limited Resources this is applicable.
