when we are implenting Multiorg it came 5 Levels
1.Business Group-->top level
2.set of books
3.legal entity-->tax will be done,tax reports
4.operating unit-->may be salesoff,collectbills,payments
which r using om,po etc---
5.inventory organization-->godown,stores

Multi Org - managing multiple operating units under single
instance of Orale Applications. Those OUs having different
set of books.
Multi Org Structure(with modules information operated at
different levels):
Business Group(HRMS) -> SOBs(GL) -> Legal Entities (Tax
reports etc.) -> Operating Unit (OM/PO/AR/AP) -> Inventory
Organization (INV/MRP/WIP)

Under Sigle implementation...maintainging multiple
oraganizations.this can be implemented any number of
organization who are all using diff set of books.

Hi Anil, When we importing the journals in GL module we need to insert the one row into GL_INTERFACE_CONTROL for each group_id.Now my question is what is the use of inserting the data into GL_INTERFACE_CONTROL table and if I not inserted into GL_INTERFACE_CONTROL what will happen
