v model is called verifiation and validation model.it is conceptual mapping between different development phases and testing phases.it having some phases, in every phase verifiation and validation is done.v model is very expensive . why because this process having more reviews and more departments.it gives better quality to the customers.mainly product based companies folowed this model.

V Model is the one of the Life cycle model , V- model is
Verification & Validation Model.

V-model is one of the model of the software process not
life cycle. We have different models like spiral model,
Evaluationary model, V-model, Fish Model. Most familiar and
most companies uses V-model according to the type of the
requirement. If the client keeps on adding their
requirements then company will go for the evolutionary
model. In this model, we can add or modify the build
according to the client's requirement and at last can give
delivary of the product.
