Answer / Praveen Sharma
Shape factor in textile engineering is a dimensionless number that characterizes the shape of an object. It can be used to describe the shape of yarns, fibers, or fabrics and is defined as the ratio between the surface area and the square of the linear dimension. A higher shape factor indicates a more irregular shape.
